On June 7th we had the pleasure of welcoming Matteo Mauro in our studio and getting him to discuss with us about his latest interesting project.
Il mio Barocco is more than a digital reinterpretation of the Baroque, it is –in Mauro’s own words – “the result of a deep assimilation and a dedication to the history of art, an unstoppable research for a poem that touches the most intimate strings of my sensitivity and reaches a new vision “. Il mio Barocco is a complete and complex cultural event. With its various exhibitions and performances at the KoART gallery, the Kitchens of the Benedictine Monastery, and educational meetings, the generative vision of Mauro redesigns the architectures of his hometown with concave-convex lines, the lava landscapes, ultimately revitalizing the roots of a fundamental element of our art history.
