Casa GD is a house originated by the combination of several buildings with different characteristics. Facing the road we find a two storey Sicilian home while, beyond a small internal courtyard, there are two communicating buildings, probably used in the past as kitchen, and warehouse. The renovation aims to maintain the characteristics of the Sicilian house of the late nineteenth century by re-functionalizing the spaces according to the new layout. The internal-external relationship is the fil-rouge that characterizes this project. Whereas the interior design plays with traditional solutions and finishes, recycled materials, design or custom-made furniture and accessories.
