The articulation of this space in different layers and the l “escalating” as leitmotif to characterize this complex place deliver a system of paths and squares creating a sequence for rest and movement.
A polished concrete structure, similar to an outcropping formation, incorporates stairs, ramps and steps, which give a different rhythm to the overall path leading to the existing square facing the Church. This sculptural mass expands and compresses, articulating areas of movement and rest with benches and green “basins”, ending into a belvedere at the existing square level.
